Attention: Fabulous Brits!

UK's Fabulous Magazine reached out to me to help them find a British woman in her 30's or 40's who's a high heel addict! Since I am that woman, except the American version, I am glad to help.

They'd like her to appear in the magazine, along with photos of her in her heels from throughout the years (as a teen, on her wedding day, etc.) How exciting is that!? So if you think you're eligible, or know someone who is, please leave me a comment or shoot me an email. Also, please feel free to forward this post to any ladies that fit the bill ;)

Geek Chic

Did anyone go to Comic-Con this past weekend? I missed it this time, but seeing the latest from Phillip Lim reminded me of it and looks like something the chicest geeks would wear to the convention.

I love kitschy graphic prints like this. They're so fun and fresh, and I always love when fashion is fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.

I feel like this is in the same vein as Prada last year. Fun, bold and graphic...

Phillip Lim didn't make any comic book inspired shoes (lame), but I went ahead and found you some ;)

Nerd Queens on Etsy make custom comic heels like this...

Black Milk x Jeffrey Campbell has these comic book Litas...

Or if you're a lunatic, Jeremy Scott always makes super crazy shoes like these...

Oops, You Stole That.

I know, I know. 3 days in a row. I'm trying! ;)

Since I USED to post knockoffs and my opinions of them, and then get a ton of crap for it via bitchy comments... I'm going to keep it short and sweet.

"Oops, you stole that."

Cece L'amour Leopard Wedges

Since so many of you asked (thank you) I wanted to share that the Cece L'amour leopard wedges I love so much are up on heels.com!!! They're one of my favorites ever. They're pretty simple and easy to wear but I get SO may compliments on them. Its super flattering and makes me so happy!!

(The yellow is a bit more mustard-y in person in my opinion)

shooting them for our ad campaign

me wearing mine in the office :)

It also comes in this floral print that I love. I lent them out to a fellow bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding last month...

The Return of the Barely There Shoe...

Like many trends from the 90's, this trend is back. Yes, the skinny strappy sandal that I was more than happy to say goodbye to has returned. Great.

Sure, they're sexy and look beautiful on nice, newly pedicured feet... but they cut into you and cause blisters and pain and let's face it, most people are not walking around with nice, newly pedicured feet. Or they have finger toes. Or bunions. Oh boy.

The above Jean-Michel Cazabat's happen to be on sale at Barneys so maybe go get um? Sea of Shoes's Jane loves hers!

Louboutin

Oh hey! I designed these pink monsters for bebe and you can get them on heels.com if you'd like :)
Beautiful sandal by DVF. A painful work of art.
Giuseppe always has a skinny strappy sandal or two (or twelve) in his collections

Just beware! This trend is dangerous. Not only to the health of your feet but it comes with a serious chance of cliffhanger toes and pinky poppers! Even the most beautiful feet aren't safe....

Jennifer Aniston I'm talkin to you girl.
